Casino Night Poem!

  • Aug. 30th, 2008 at 7:30 PM

Hey there,
So I was watching the Hometown Glory Jam video by [info]ooohjoy , you can check out it www.youtube.com/watch Anyway! It was crying my eyes out! Literally! And it's funny cause the song isn't supposed to be so sad, it's about Adele's (she's the singer) love for London, but when she put it together with Jam, and you thought of the lyrics in a different way, SOOO SAD!! So I pulled up a word document and started writing for some random reason, and I thought up this poem! It`s about the parking lot scene in Casino Night It doesn`t really have a title either...

EW Photoshoot

Alright, so this is basically an example of the sort of stuff I'll be doing here, while giving you a POST!!! Yay for innovation! I will comment on other photos and graphics like this!
So I thought the best way to start was with a typical office thing. The EW photoshoot is pretty well known among us office geeks!

My Office Blogette

  • Aug. 17th, 2008 at 12:00 AM

So what is Dunder Mifflia?
This summer, my brother and I watched an episode of the Office casually one day called the Deposition. I had never seen the show before and thought it was awesome. So I decided to watch more episodes online. In one week I stayed up till all hours of the night to watch all the episodes of the Office. That's 63 episodes in six nights. I became officially hooked after watching Diversity Day when I really fell in love with Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly. Yay for Jam. Anywho! Then, after my binge!watch, I went away on holiday to a cottage with no tv or computer. we had a laptop with us, but no internet connection. I was going through a withdrawal as my friend might say of the Office. So, I went to the Future Shop and bought season 1. I showed this to my cousins who were also staying in the same place and my brother and even though there were only six episodes I was becoming a little deranged. I watched the episodes through about three times, watched all of the commentary twice and then, wehn I wasn't watching, I was obsessing. I would write down quotes and favourite moments from season one and from other seasons. My cousins and I would constantly answer "absolutely I do" instead of "okay" and we would draw stick figure comics of the characters and favourite moments. At that point, I knew I was hooked. I was literally in LOVE with Jim Halpert (who isn't?) and would obsess, obsess, obsess. I didn't have enough money with me to buy season two. But on the last day, I borrowed money from my parents to purchase it and my brother and I watched the season in the car ride home. When I got back, I showed my brother the other episodes online, showed friends my episodes and obsessed some more with fanart. and wallpapers (my office graphics collection is massive!). So After I was done rewatching the episodes and obsessing some more, I found myself at a loss of what to do when not going on office dedicated sights or watching bonus features or searching for icons. I can't wait for season five. It makes me giddy and crazy to know that it won't be premiering for another month and a bit. So, I decided to start a little blog. An Office Blogette I call it. I comment on pictures and graphics and fanart and I will be doing my own commentary and recaps from the episodes until Sept 25th. So get ready, 'casue I've got a lot of work to do! I don't know if this will ever be discovered, but I hope so, because I LOVE the Office and it would be great to have this blog be viewed by more people than myself.
Have fun :D
Love to the office creators
Season One is coming soon
